Mary-Ann Alberga is a Toronto-born French Canadian and Italian visual artist and facilitator living and working in Burlington, Ontario, part of the current Treaty Lands and Territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit.

As an artist-mother, Mary-Ann’s practice is deeply influenced by children’s playful approaches to art making and is a continuous exploration of new materials and ways of working. Their mixed media, process-based work engages with writing, drawing, painting, collage, printmaking, textile, and 3D objects often using up-cycled, donated or found materials.

Mary-Ann is also a member of the Elizabeth Gardens Creative Collective (Burlington) and has been a commissioned portrait painter since 2004.
